Founded in 2019 by Steve Beeny, SC Royals was started with the goal of bringing field hockey to Orange County kids and creating a club of committed volunteers and families with a passion for hockey and fun. Six years later, we’re even more committed to providing a home for hockey in Orange County! 

Royals FHC is a year round, outdoor hockey club focused on new player development, learning fundamental team skills, and training competitive tournament teams. Our group of experienced, caring, and fun coaches are focused on ensuring every kid who wants to play hockey, can play hockey; and fosters an environment of teamwork, respect, and positivity. 

Hockey is a small sport in Orange County, but we’re working to bring more playing opportunities and exposure throughout the area. As a member of USA Field Hockey, and a recent awardee of the Bessant Grow the Game grant, we’re excited to create new opportunities to grow the game in our area!
